Third-party certification for Certified Free From (CFF) foods is an essential way a manufacturer or consumer packaged brand can show their commitment to you or your family’s food-allergies, intolerances and sensitivities. And as the most experienced (and only!) food allergen certification organization in the world, we are well-established and considered by many to be the gold standard of the food allergy industry.

Our CFF program has been recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as meeting the rigorous International Standards Organization (ISO17065) standards for certifying bodies. On top of their standards the certification meets the standards also set by us!  

Whether a manufacturing facility is in Baltimore or Bejiing, our audits are completed in-person by a qualified and professional food safety auditor. And each manufacturer must first undergo a rigorous on-site test followed up with additional audits on a monthly basis. 

Each client that goes through our validation process receives a custom seal to properly and safely display on their packaging that communicates to you, the consumer, that the product is free from a potentially harmful allergen. These seals work to substantiate soft claims made on packaging made by manufacturers and consumer packaged brands. Anyone can say “Our food is XYZ free!,” but the companies that go the extra mile and walk through our rigorous accreditation process are putting an entirely new level of confidence into their products. 

Why? Because the seal(s) we provide each manufacturer or consumer packaged brand depends on the allergens that are not contained in the product or food. This means that whether a product is free from one, three, five or all nine of the top allergens, we’ve got you covered! Ultimately, this provides safety, ease and comfort for you and your loved ones suffering from food allergies or sensitivities.
